With a name like "Destroy Babylon," you know these guys are not content with the state of the world, but their solid reggae/jazz fusion groove makes music that's just as suitable for a dance party as for a street fight. They are making waves in the Boston music scene, but they have deep N.H. roots. The music, as impressive as it is, is only part of the package with Destroy Babylon. The art above is a complimentary poster tucked into their unconventionally packaged CD-slash-poetic-graphic manifesto. Of you can buy a hand-silk-screened, 12-inch vinyl record album. Taken as a whole, "Long Live the Vortex" by Destroy Babylon is a radical DIY masterpiece for the Occupy generation.
