Fauxhouse Rock

Dub of the Month: November 2009
air date: 11/17/09
release date: 11/20/09

credits: Recorded at Dungeon1 in Allston, MA. Engineered and mixed by DB. Additional mixing by HB at Grandma's Studio.

notes: Not Waterhouse, or Firehouse- this is Fauxhouse Rock. Loosely based on the Roots Radics riddim for "Lost mi Love" by Yellow Man (or Billy Boyo's "Billy Boyo in the Arena"), which is a version of Sylford Walker's "Give Thanks and Praise to Jah". Respect to the original JA artists. The artwork is a NH Culture Pirate's tribute to the Wackies label, forever an inspiration. #10 to debut on Pipeline WMBR.

Features the killer tenor style of Jason Buhl of The Macrotones, which he actually tracked at his home studio. Jay also played on a previous DOTM, "Dub Me Out" but on flute. Multi-talented rocker.
